We are excited to see everyone this Saturday for the 17th Annual Resolution Run 5K, 10K & Half Marathon! Please read below for all the important details on Packet Pick-Up, Event Day Schedule, FAQs and more.
Early Packet Pick-Up
Come get your race goods ahead of the event so you are ready to go! Note: if you paid to have your packet mailed to your house, you do not need to come to early packet pick-up.
Where: Road Runner Sports: 5553 Copley Dr., San Diego, CA 92111
When: Friday, January 10th: 12PM – 7PM
Important notes about picking up your race goods:
- Bib numbers must be picked up in person by the participant or a friend
- You must show your photo ID to pick-up your bib and shirt. If you are picking up for a friend/family member you MUST bring a picture of their photo ID (e.g. they can just text it to you).

FAQs:
- Can I pick-up for another person? Yes! But you must bring a picture of their ID
- Is there event day pick-up available? Yes there is. But remember that parking is challenging at Mission Bay on event day. So by waiting until event day, you may risk starting the race late.
- Can a friend/family member sign up at packet pick-up? Yes but they can also do it from your phone/computer in advance. HINT: Remind them to use code: LASTCHANCE10 to save 10%:
- 5K: $55 thru 1/12, $60 on event day
- 10K: $65 thru 1/12, $70 on event day
- Half Marathon: $105 thru 1/12; $119 on event day
Start/Finish Location and Parking
10K and Half Marathon Start: 7:15AM
5K Start: 7:30 AM
Location: 1740 E Mission Bay Dr., San Diego, CA 92109. You MUST enter Mission Bay from the Clairemont Dr. entrance. The entrance from SeaWorld Dr. will be closed.
Parking: The nearest lots will be 1093 East Mission Bay Dr. and 2195 East Mission Bay Dr.. Otherwise, you will park along the street on E. Mission Bay Dr. Parking may be up to a 15-20 minute walk from the venue so please plan accordingly!
Ride Share/Drop-Off: We encourage Ride Share (Uber/Lyft) or Drop-off!
Gear Check
We will offer gear check in vendor village, near the finish line! Please bring your own, fully sealable bag. We’ll attach the perforated gear check tag on your bib. You must pick up your bag by 11a on race day.
Event Day Schedule
- 6:00 AM: Event Day Registration/Check-In Opens (if you did not already receive your goods)
- 7:15 AM: 10K/Half Marathon Starts
- 7:30 AM: 5K Starts
- 8:45 AM: 5K Awards for Top 3 Overall
- 9:00 AM: 10K Awards for Top 3 Overall
- 9:30 AM: Half Marathon Awards for Top 3 Overall
- 11:00 AM: Event Ends
Course Support
Fully staffed and equipped water stations will have water and a restroom available, along with GU Energy Gels and GU electrolyte products at select water stations. The aid stations will be located at:
- MILE 1.5: Water, electrolyte and restroom
- MILE 3.1: Water and restroom
- MILE 5: Water and electrolyte
- MILE 5.75: Restrooms (half marathon only)
- MILE 7.5: Water, electrolyte, GU Energy Gel and restroom
- MILE 9.1: Water, electrolyte and restroom
- MILE 10.8: Water, electrolyte, GU Energy Gel and restroom
- MILE 12.5: Water, electrolyte and restroom
Weather
Forecast calls partly cloudy skies with a morning low of 47 degrees and temperature rising toward a daytime high of 60 degrees. The race will go on rain or shine!
If you wear layers before the race, we do have gear check for you!
Medical Support
If you experience a medical problem on course, go to the nearest aid station where a medical representative will be called to assist you. If you are unable to finish the race, shuttle transportation to the finish can also be called from every aid station. Additionally, a SAG vehicle will be available to pick up participants who need transport to the finish. Additional medical staff equipped with first aid and comfort supplies will be located at the final aid stations to provide support as well.
Course Cut-Off/Time Limit
The course cut-off times will be:
- 5K: 75 minutes
- 10K: 2 hours
- Half Marathon: 3 hours and 15 minutes
Dog Policy
While we love our dogs, we ask that you please leave your pup at home. In addition to safety reasons, Mission Bay does not allow dogs during the day and will provide citations if your dog joins you at the event.
Race Results
Race Results will be live and available immediately after you cross the finish line. Look up your results by scanning the QR codes in the vendor village or click here: RACE RESULTS.
Awards
All participants will receive a finisher’s medal at the finish line. Special awards will be given to the following top finishers for 5K, 10K and Half Marathoners:
- Top 3 Overall Male & Female finishers 5K, 10K and Half Marathoners (to be presented in the vendor village)
- The following age group will be handed out at the Awards tent following the event:
- 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+
Awards will not be mailed out following the event. Please pick up on-site on race day.
Free Race Photos
Race photos will be taken along the course! You will receive an e-mail with a link to these photos within one week of race day. These complimentary photos will be free for you to download and share! #resolutionrun.
